Jiaxiu Building in Guiyang is a landmark building in Guiyang and a key cultural relic protection scenic spot. Built in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, it is located on a boulder in the Nanming River in the urban area and is a three-story wooden attic.
The name of Jiaxiulou in Guiyang means "Hakka is beautiful", which means that Guizhou has a large number of talents and a prosperous style of writing. It is a witness to the history of Guiyang and a symbol in the history of cultural development.
Jiaxiulou scenic spot in Guiyang is mainly divided into three parts, namely Fuyu Bridge, Jiaxiulou and Cuiwei Garden. Fuyu Bridge is a stone bridge across Nanming River, which connects the stone and wood archway, Hanbi Pavilion, Jiaxiulou and Cuiwei Garden in series from north to south. Originally named as Kannonji, Cuiwei Garden is now a group of ancient buildings combining temples and gardens, including pavilions, rockeries and long corridors.

Jiaxiulou, located at No.8 Cuiwei Lane, Nanming District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located on the Nanming River. It was built in the 26th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1598), based on a boulder in the river, and has been repaired many times in past dynasties. The existing building is a reconstruction relic of Xuantong Yuannian (1909).
Jiaxiu Building is divided into three floors, all with white stones as columns, which are gathered layer by layer, about 20 meters high from the bridge deck to the roof; Nanming River flows in front of the building and flows into Hanbitan; The side of the building is connected by a stone arch bridge "Fuyu Bridge", on which there is a small pavilion called "Hanbi Pavilion". Zhu Liang is a three-story building with a pyramid roof with three eaves and four corners. Jiaxiulou is a witness of Guiyang's history and a symbol in the history of cultural development.
On March 28th, 2008, Jiaxiulou, as a part of Wenchang Pavilion and Jiaxiulou, was identified as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units by the State Council.
