First of all, look at the external position and area of the damaged door. If the position is relatively small, then the door can be operated without disassembling the door, and the door panel can be disassembled.
If the area is particularly large, it is best to remove the door and carry out the corresponding sheet metal treatment.
The first treatment method is seamless repair, which is mainly used for relatively small dents in doors. Do not drop the primer, and directly repair it seamlessly.
The second method is to repair the metal plate with special tools. First, the depressed steel plate is pushed outward from the inside, and then the concave edge and convex part on the outside are struck by rubber hammer and leveling pen, and the stress at the corner of the concave edge is dispersed mainly by striking around the concave edge, so as to achieve the purpose of integral repair. This technique must be delicate and patient, and fine-tuning bit by bit is the key, otherwise frequent and large-scale movements will destroy the original stress and toughness of the steel plate, and even cause greater harm to the body. After the sheet metal is in place, scrape a thin layer of putty, then level it and repaint it.
