He wrote: When the cold water ditch was laid on May 30, I only saw the bodies of a dozen Japanese people soaking in two pits. Even Japanese academic circles admit that this war is a real battle of the Japanese army.

Japanese soldier Yukio Yoshino described the Tengchong Campaign in the book "Tengyue Jade Crushed" published in 1980: 10 In September, the enemy, inspired by anger, made a final general attack, and the number of our remaining defenders reached more than 350.
