XiShen is a feature film directed by Fang and starring Li Haihe. The film tells the story of Li Xiaoshan, the son of Li Cunchang in Qingshangou village, getting married on the 6th of next month. Li Cunchang and his wife are busy looking for a wedding (dialect: the person who presided over the wedding and funeral in the countryside). Li Cunchang wanted to take the opportunity of his son's marriage to take the lead in the village and treat and give gifts with great fanfare.
