Bumper repair method

Bumpers are usually made of plastic with good elasticity and flexibility. Of course, there are also metal bumpers, and the repair methods of different materials will be different.

Plastic bumper

1. First, grind the crack with a grinder sandpaper to remove the paint around the crack. Do not use too thick sandpaper, just use 180# sandpaper.

2. After polishing, clean the polished place with plastic cleaning solution to remove dirt and impurities on the surface;

3. Cut a stainless steel mending net with proper size, fill it in the gap of the plastic shell, and then fill the gap with putty. After the putty is dry, polish the putty and spray paint. It is best to find a 4S shop for painting, because color matching is easy to have color difference;

4. If there are big cracks and plastic fragments appear, they can be spliced together with plastic steel mud. When they are dry, polish them carefully, and then repair them according to the above steps.
