Treatment of hand deformity and axillary scar contracture after burn;

The typical manifestation of hand burn is claw-shaped hand deformity. The loss of functional position of hand will seriously affect the function of hand. Scar contracture of the back of hand leads to hyperextension of metacarpophalangeal joint, flexion of interphalangeal joint, adduction of thumb, deviation of little finger to ulnar side, disappearance of longitudinal arch and transverse arch of hand, forming a typical claw-like hand deformity.

The treatment of claw-shaped hand is a very complicated systematic project. All existing deformities should be treated separately to preserve the function of hand as much as possible.

Shoulder joint is the most active joint in human body, and scar contracture will seriously affect the independent activity of shoulder joint. If the scar of the armpit extends to the trunk, the dressing, diet and posture of the patient will be affected; If the scar extends to the arm, the activity of the elbow joint will also be affected.
