2. Smoking should be stopped before operation. Aspirin, birth control pills and some anti-inflammatory drugs can cause increased bleeding, so some time before surgery.
These drugs should be stopped.
3. Before maxillofacial plastic surgery, routine laboratory tests such as blood and urine, as well as routine health tests such as chest X-ray and electrocardiogram are needed.
Check to make sure there are no important organic diseases, such as heart disease, hepatitis, nephritis and pneumonia.
