Clivia is full of phototropism. Clivia is kept indoors and on the balcony, and its leaves often come from the inside to the foreign minister. In order to make the leaves of Clivia clear, artificial shaping is needed. Common methods are:

(1) contains methods. Select two aluminum strips with a diameter of 3mm, the length of which depends on the plant size of Clivia, and bend them into rectangles with the same shape. The two ends of the aluminum strip are inserted into the border soil of the flowerpot along the two sides of the fan-shaped leaves of Clivia to form an arc-shaped clamping ring to clamp the leaves. In order to avoid damaging the blades, the clamping force between the clamping rings should not be too large, and the clamping rings can be removed after the blades are neat.

(2) Cardboard method. Select two pieces of cardboard with a thickness of 1-2 mm, make the cardboard into a trapezoidal covering board according to the size and width of Clivia leaves, and then cover Clivia buds on the trapezoidal cardboard one by one. After a period of plastic surgery, Clivia leaves will be neat.

(3) Rotating basin method. According to the growth season and light intensity of Clivia, the direction of the flowerpot is rotated regularly, so that the side of Clivia receives the same amount of light at equal intervals. In general, it can be rotated 1 time every 2-3 days in the growing season and 1 time every 4-5 days in the slow growing season, and the rotation times and angles are as same as possible, which can correct the leaf deformation caused by unilateral illumination of Clivia.

(4) Covering method. For Clivia plants with large deflection of young leaves and small deformation of old leaves, opaque black cardboard can be used to block the light on the other three sides, so that they can fully accept the light according to the required bending direction, and the deformed leaves are forced to bend in the required direction, so that Clivia plants are upright and beautiful in appearance.
