How to prevent frozen ears in winter?

1. Applying antifreeze cream can promote blood circulation and metabolism of the skin while conditioning the skin. After use, a soft protective film is formed on the skin surface, which keeps the skin from losing moisture and prevents the harsh environment from invading the skin.

It can effectively prevent chapped skin and frostbite, and make the skin young and healthy.

2. Wear earmuffs or a hat that can cover your ears to prevent them from being stimulated by cold air. This is more practical and has an effective preventive function against frozen ears.

3. Increase outdoor exercise, so that all parts of the body can gradually adapt to the cold climate.

Wash your face with cold water frequently to enhance the cold resistance, and the exposed parts of your body should be coated with some oil to prevent freezing. When standing outdoors, you should exercise properly to promote blood circulation. Pay attention to the warmth of the ears and the whole body, especially the parts that have been frostbitten in the past, and pay more attention to keeping warm in advance.

4. If frostbite happens accidentally, gently rub the frostbite to promote blood circulation and gradually return the temperature to normal. Never heat up sharply. Topical frostbite can be coated with pepper tincture and chilblain cream, and antibiotics should be used at the broken part to prevent infection.

5. If frostbite has occurred, you can always rub the affected part with a soft cloth or soak it in warm water at 25℃. Or decoct the soup with an appropriate amount of egg skin, after cooling to a suitable temperature, wash it repeatedly until the frostbite feels wet or the stiff wood disappears. Those with lumps can be rubbed frequently with ginger juice and pepper to make blood flow smoothly. When there are small scars on the skin, 7% honey and 3% lard can be mixed into ointment for external application.

6. Never forget that if frostbite is itchy, try not to scratch it, which will cause secondary infection.
