Please observe the following guidelines:
(1) Ask the sealant manufacturer or supplier for the material safety information sheet. For the sake of safety, you should read it carefully. Registered structural engineer examination
(2) When applying glue on site, we must be aware of the great possibility of pollution. Even if two rags are used correctly, air pollution or secondary pollution of water in other working faces will affect the work results. The gluing process in silicone sealants is very demanding, so you should be very careful when you work.
(3) When handling glass plates used for structural assembly, great care must be taken. The edges should be protected from being damaged. The reflective film, low emissivity film and high performance glass should be handled carefully to prevent edge cracking.
(4) In addition, the sealant manufacturer should consult the manufacturer of doors and windows or metal assembly system about the frame installation procedure, glass assembly sequence and technical requirements.
(5) Most structural assembly systems use black silicone sealant. Black silicone sealants will not cause aesthetic problems that other colors may cause. Such as black silicone sealants, it is not easy to see the starting and ending points of bubbles or tools.
(6) Please follow the sealant manufacturer's instructions when using caulking glue gun or loose glue dispensing equipment. If a pneumatic glue gun is used, the pressure shall not be greater than 45 psi(3. 1× 105Pa).
(7) Apply sealant to the processed joints, carefully glue upward from the bottom of the vertical joints, and push the sealant to the front of the gun nozzle to ensure that the whole cavity is filled with sealant. No air inlays or bubbles are allowed at the edges.
(8) After gluing, immediately compact the glue joint before the surface of sealant is consolidated.
(9) The plastic work should be neat, and the sealant should be pressed hard so as not to contact with the interface edge. Compaction can eliminate internal bubbles and ensure good contact between sealant and substrate. Sealant is easy to cure on the surface, and repeated painting is not recommended. Don't use soap or detergent.
