Seed plants can be divided into gymnosperm and angiosperm. Gymnosperms only have seeds and no fruits, because there is no ovary wall outside the ovule, and the seeds are only covered with a layer of scales. Gymnosperms have no flowers, only spore leaves, which can't be regarded as real flowers, but their morphological structure is different from that of angiosperms, except that some spore leaves (bulbs) of gymnosperms are equivalent to the functions of angiosperms flowers, so gymnosperms have roots and stems. The seeds of angiosperms cover the pericarp, which has six organs: rhizome, leaf, fruit and seed. It can be seen that the main feature of gymnosperms is that there is no fruit shell outside the seeds.
The seeds of Chinese cabbage are covered with pericarp and belong to angiosperms.
