What's the difference between injection mold and die casting mold in structure?
The basic structure and principle of injection mold and die casting mold are the same, but they are different in some specific structures. The main difference lies in the different feed inlets. Generally, the feed inlet of injection mold is a fine cone hole, which is divided into side feed inlet and pinhole feed inlet in the mold. The entrance of die-casting mold is generally 40mm entrance. The reason why the die-casting mold has this kind of inlet is that the cooling speed of molten metal is very fast, and the large inlet can make the liquid metal quickly inject into the cavity.
