1. The trunk lid and hinge are usually fixed by four screws. Open the trunk and loosen the first screw on each hinge.

2. Push the tailgate cover left and right, gently lower the counterpoint until the gap on both sides is almost the same, then gently open the tailgate cover and tighten the screws.

3. If one screw on both sides cannot be adjusted in place, loosen all screws, adjust the position of the tailgate cover, and then tighten the screws under both sides.

4. Adjust the position again and finally tighten the two screws on it.

5. After adjusting the clearance of the trunk lid, try to open and close the trunk lock several times.
