The reason why the double eyelid is too wide, too narrow or asymmetrical is that the double eyelid line is not designed properly. (When the double eyelid line is designed to be 9~ 10mm wide, or the upper eyelid is stripped of too much slack skin, the double eyelid line is natural and beautiful in the near future, but it will be too narrow after three months, so the so-called "hidden double" is best removed). The reason for the asymmetry of bilateral double eyelids is that the preoperative design line is drawn asymmetrically, and the skin height of the left and right eyelids fixed on the tarsal plate is different. The patient's eyes were not symmetrical before operation, and the design line of double eyelids was not adjusted during design.

Repair method:

(1) There is no good prescription for patients with double eyelids. Therefore, if there is no special requirement for preoperative design, the eyelid width should be 7-8 mm, and the tarsal plate should be sutured under the incision during the operation, not too high. If necessary, the low line can be redesigned and repaired according to the three eyelid repair method.

(2) If the double eyelid is too narrow, you can cut it according to the original double eyelid line, and separate the upper eyelid skin below the double eyelid line to reach the gray line. Then, when sewing with the meibomian, you can choose the upper edge of the incision, so that the double eyelids will be widened. If the patient's upper eyelid skin is slack, it is necessary to properly remove the skin to widen the double eyelids, otherwise the sagging skin will cover the double eyelid line and make the double eyelids too narrow.

(3) For people with asymmetric double eyelids, the narrow double eyelids can be trimmed with the opposite double eyelids through the incision.
