Properly thin out the plants before sprouting every year in early spring, thin out aging branches, thin branches, overly dense branches, diseased branches and dead branches, and retain 1 to 2-year-old branches and 2-3-year-old branches. The dense branchlets on the branches make the branches evenly distributed. Prune lightly after flowering to remove old branches and overly dense branches. When the plant is weak, it can be pruned and regenerated during the dormant period to retain the new branches 30 to 40cm high on the ground. During the growing season, attention should be paid to controlling tillering at the base of the plant to prevent excessive growth that may affect flowering. If the long branches have no flower buds, you can cut off 2/3 of the apex and keep 1/3 of the base. After new short branches grow, flower buds will develop in the leaf axils and they will bloom the next year.
