In June 2006, he was promoted to associate professor and professor. He is currently the secretary and deputy director of the Party branch of the Geophysical Department of the College of Resources and Information, a member of the American Society of Exploration Geophysicists, chinese geophysical society and seismological society of china, the invited convener of the annual meeting of "Geophysical Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields and Coal" in chinese geophysical society, the editorial board of the annual journal Geophysics of China, and the editor-in-chief of the magazines Geophysical Exploration of Petroleum and Applied Geophysics. Won the American Society of Exploration Geophysicists 1996- 1997 and1998 "Education" Scholarships, chinese geophysical society 1999 "Fu Chengyi Youth Science and Technology Award", University of Petroleum (Beijing) 2000- Published more than 50 detailed journal papers and abstracts of international conference papers, of which more than 20 were included by SCI and EI.
