Barbie plays Melia Summers, an excellent swimmer, super surfer and the most eye-catching girl in Malibu High School. But suddenly, strange things began to happen to her-her hair would turn pink in the sea, and she knew that she could breathe in the water and even communicate with dolphins!

During her journey, she met four other girls (Nikki, Summer, Christie and Chelsea), who helped her find the Snow Queen and save Lorina.
