Weifang Medical College is a provincial medical college focusing on medicine and combining management, law, science and literature. The school was formerly known as 195 1 Shandong Changwei Medical College. 1958 was expanded to Changwei Medical College with the support of Qingdao Medical College (now Medical College of Qingdao University), and 1987 was renamed Weifang Medical College, which is a pilot university of the "Excellent Doctor Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education.
