The towering Mount Qomolangma has always been a sacred place for human beings to prove their climbing ability. Since1May 29th, 953, when humans first climbed Mount Qomolangma successfully, many climbers from all over the world, including China, have left footprints on the top of Mount Qomolangma. 184 1 year: Sir George Everles, chief inspector of India, recorded the geographical location of Mount Everest. 1853: Everest was investigated as the highest peak in the world, with an altitude of 8840 meters. 192 1: The first British mountaineering team led by Lieutenant Colonel Charles Howard Burley began to climb Mount Everest, reaching an altitude of 7000 meters. 1922: the second British mountaineering team reached an altitude of 8320 meters with oxygen supply devices. 1924: The third British mountaineering team climbed Mount Everest, and members George Mallory and Andrew Irvine disappeared while using oxygen devices to reach the summit. 1999, Mallory's body was found at an altitude of 8 150, and the camera he carried with him was missing. In the same year, the China mountaineering team climbed Mount Everest for the second time, and nine members reached the summit. In May, 2003, China Everest Climbing Team, China-South Korea Joint Climbing Team, Japan, the United States and other mountaineering teams successfully climbed to the top of Mount Everest from the north slope.
