Lin, also known as. 190 1 year 12.23 was born in a teacher's family in Gulangyu (now Xiamen), Siming District, Fujian Province. I learned fluent English from my father who was engaged in teaching and English translation. When she was 5 years old, her mother died of cervical cancer, and her father fell ill because he missed her so much that he could not bear the complicated housework. Family life based on father's salary cut off the source of income. Fortunately, eldest brother is reasonable. In order to make a living and let his sister go to school, he left the university where he was about to graduate more than a year ago and returned to Gulangyu to find a way to make a living. Lin grew up with the care of his father and the love of his brother. Difficulties at home made her go to primary school two years later than her peers. She matured earlier than her peers, understood the hardships of life better, and developed a tough, stubborn and kind character. I know I study hard and help my family after school. 1908 After attending Dream School (girls' primary school), I attended Gulangyu Girls' School (namely Huairen School and Gulangyu Girls' Middle School). Three years later, she was promoted to Gulangyu Higher Women's Normal School, with excellent academic performance. She became an excellent student in this school and stayed as a teacher. Xiamen is the gateway for missionaries to preach in China. At school, she was educated by the concept of "equality, freedom and happiness" in the missionary school, and joined Christianity with her classmates on 19 14. Lin was kept in Union Medical College Hospital with excellent results and was promoted to resident in advance. Three years later, he got the opportunity to study in England. 1939, she was sent to the United States for further study. 1940, the United States hired her as a member of the honorary Committee of natural science. Shortly after returning from the United States, the Pearl Harbor incident broke out and the Union Medical College Hospital was occupied by the Japanese army. She was kicked out of the hospital with all the medical staff. From 65438 to 0942, she opened Lin clinic in Dongtangzi Hutong. The outpatient registration fee was reduced from 5 cents to 3 cents, which was once criticized by peers and pushed all kinds of intractable diseases to the forest clinic. In order to reduce the burden on patients, she mobilized ordinary patients with common diseases to visit the nearest clinic. There was no decent obstetrics and gynecology department in Peiping at that time. Wives, children and girls of the upper class, and wives and ladies of foreign institutions in China all go to the forest for medical treatment when they are sick. Shortly after the opening of the clinic, Lin was employed by Zhonghe Hospital (formerly the Central Hospital affiliated to Beijing Medical University, now the People's Hospital affiliated to Beijing Medical University) as the chief physician, and Lin became the director of obstetrics and gynecology under his transfer. At the same time, students such as Ge Qinsheng, Liu, etc. were enrolled. Assist Lin in designing the maternity ward building of the hospital. 1946 was appointed as the director of obstetrics and gynecology of Peking University Medical College. A medical school, a hospital and a clinic, she visited in turn. Exquisite medical skills and good medical ethics have made Lin's reputation as a "living Buddha" spread from Dongcheng to Xicheng and throughout the capital, becoming a household name. Lin clinic has 8887 medical records in less than six years.
In order to develop medical education, she and Zhong Huilan and others donated the income from their part-time jobs in Peking University Medical College as a teaching fund to train more medical students. Lin also supported the establishment of hematology and urology departments in Zhonghe Hospital, which were not available in Peiping at that time. Urologist Wu Jieping, surgeon Zeng Xianjiu and radiologist Hu all received training and exercise there. During the period of 1946, tropical disease experts and medical educators were ordered to restore Union Medical College Hospital, and a board of directors attended by, Li, Hu Zhengxiang and Nie Yuchan was established on behalf of China. He has invited back, Xie Shaowen, Zhang and other medical experts, and Hu Zhengxiang personally invited Lin back to Union Medical College twice. In the early 1930 s, she studied fetal intrauterine respiration and female pelvic organ diseases; At the end of 1940s, research on trophoblastic tumors and other gynecological tumors began. In 1950s, she proposed and carried out a large-scale general survey and treatment of gynecological diseases, and successfully diagnosed and treated neonatal hemolysis. In the 1960s, 56 kg and 7 giant tumors were successfully removed, and in the 1980s, he devoted himself to compiling gynecological tumors.
To commemorate her, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China issued a commemorative stamp and a first day cover with the number 1990. 1984 The Xiamen Municipal People's Government and the kulangsu Municipal People's Government built the Forest Memorial Hall in the prime location of Gulangyu Island and named it "Yu Huan". China Youth Publishing House, China Science and Technology Publishing House and Fujian Science and Technology Publishing House published the Biography of Lin Documentary Literature in 1985, 1989 and 1992 respectively.
1959 she was appointed by the State Council as the vice president of China Academy of Medical Sciences, and the only female academician of China Academy of Sciences who was elected for the first time. He is also a member of the Medical Group of the State Council Science Planning Commission and the Invention Review Committee of Central Technology Administration. She attended the World Medical Congress held in Austria from 65438 to 0953, and then visited the Soviet Union. From 65438 to 0972, he served as deputy head and led a delegation of Chinese Medical Association to visit the United States and Canada. 1973 was employed as a consultant of the medical research advisory committee of the World Health Organization for a term of five years to 1977. After the meeting, he visited Switzerland and France.
