Suddenly, a very strong wind blew two people with torches into the sky, and two suns appeared in the sky. The two suns took turns shining on the earth, making people unable to sleep and the crops burnt. I don't know how long it took, but an archer with good archery hit one of the suns with a strong arrow. Since then, its light has weakened and turned into the moon.

Another myth of Gaoshan people says that the sun and the moon were changed by a pair of young men and women: in order to find light for the earth and people, they traveled all over the world and finally flew into the sky. The young man turned into a radiant sun, and the young woman turned into a gentle and lovely moon.

When you look up at the moon, you will immediately find some places on the bright moon that are not so bright. They are slightly darker than the surrounding area, and the degree of darkness is different.
