Dr. che said: what is this situation?
The so-called big accident is the damage of the structure or important parts of the car, such as the girder and ABC column in the body structure, the structural damage of the engine, and the airbag pop-up. The so-called minor accidents, such as rubbing, did not affect the body structure.

Meet any of the following, it is an accident car:

1, after the impact, the engine compartment and cockpit vehicles were damaged.

2. The impact damage of the rear fender of the car body exceeds one third of the vehicle.

3. The longitudinal beam has vehicles that are welded, cut, reshaped and deformed.

4. The shock absorber seat has welded, cut, reshaped and deformed vehicles.

5.ABC column welded, cut, reshaped and deformed the vehicle.

6. Vehicles with airbags ejected due to impact.

7. Vehicles with other non-detachable parts that are severely welded, cut, reshaped and deformed.

8. Vehicles whose bodies are soaked in water for more than half of their bodies, or vehicles with accumulated water entering the cockpit.

9. The car body was burned by fire for more than 0.5 square meters. After repair, there are still potential safety hazards.

Other cases

Situation 1: Is the whole car painted as an accident car?

It can't be recognized as an accident car in the national standard of used cars, but consumers should be informed truthfully;

Case 2: Is airbag replacement an accident car?

The definition of accident car in Technical Specification for Appraisal and Evaluation of Used Cars does not mention airbag. Our standard is that if the airbag is recalled and replaced by the manufacturer, it is not an accident car in this case, but the consumer will be informed in the test report; If the airbag bursts because of a car collision, we will judge this situation as an accident car.

Case 3: Is the A-pillar, B-pillar and C-pillar damaged an accident vehicle?

Although the definition of accident vehicle in Technical Specification for Used Car Appraisal mentions A-pillar, B-pillar and C-pillar, it does not describe the size of defect description. For example, if something accidentally falls from the upstairs and hits the A-pillar, the appearance of the A-pillar will be damaged, but the outside and inside of the A-pillar will not be deformed, twisted, replaced, welded or folded. In this case, we generally don't judge it as an accident car, but we need to tell consumers truthfully; If the damage of the doorpost is caused by a vehicle collision, we will judge this situation as an accident vehicle.
