On the evening of the 6th, the guerrilla column in southern Zhejiang received the commanding heights of Lotus Heart, Cuiwei Mountain and Songtai Mountain outside Wenzhou. At midnight, the troops set out from Taipingling and entered the city in three ways. Guerrillas and Ye Fang troops in southern Zhejiang have divided their work according to the agreement, and they have carried out their duties smoothly. In the early morning of the 7th, three flares of guerrillas in southern Zhejiang were launched, announcing the liberation of Wenzhou. Since then, Wenzhou has ended the 22-year reactionary rule of the Kuomintang and returned to the hands of the people.
Jingdezhen Temple, the former site of Wenzhou peaceful liberation negotiations, is located in Lingtou Village, Guoxi Town, ouhai district. Founded in the Song Dynasty, the former site is in the ravine under Zhong Tongling Peak, surrounded by lush bamboo and wood, and the environment is quiet. 1927, a generation of eminent monk Master Hongyi lived here for about a year. After liberation, the government repaired the temple many times. Now, there are five halls in front and five rooms on the left and right wings, which are arranged as showrooms, displaying many precious historical pictures. The original negotiation venue was transformed into an antique tile house with conference tables inside to simulate the scene of peace talks at that time. Jingdezhen Temple has received more than 5,000 tourists every year since it was opened to the outside world on 1999, and it has become an important place for young people to learn revolutionary traditions and party member cadres to understand the history of the Party.
