Identification 1. Cheese-like leucorrhea or bean curd residue-like leucorrhea: fungal vaginitis, often accompanied by severe vulvar itching or burning pain.
2. Purulent, yellow-green, foamy and smelly leucorrhea: characterized by trichomonal vaginitis, accompanied by vulvar itching.
3. Gray, thin, foul-smelling leucorrhea: characterized by bacterial vaginosis, accompanied by mild pruritus of vulva.
4. Purulent leucorrhea: yellow or yellowish green, sticky and smelly, which is caused by bacterial infection. Can be seen in gonorrhea, gonococcal vaginitis, acute cervicitis and cervicitis. Vaginal cancer or cervical cancer complicated with infection, pus in uterine cavity or foreign body residue in vagina can also lead to purulent leucorrhea.
5. Purulent leucorrhea: consider acute pelvic inflammatory disease, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer with infection, uterine cavity pus, vaginal foreign body, etc.
6. Water-like leucorrhea: it is as thin as water or rice, and has a foul smell: it is found in late cervical cancer, vaginal cancer or submucosal myoma with infection. Intermittent discharge of clear, yellow-red or red watery leucorrhea should consider the possibility of tubal cancer.
7. bloody leucorrhea: leucorrhea mixed with blood, with different blood volume. Cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, cervical polyp, ectopic infection of cervical columnar epithelium or submucous myoma of uterus should be considered. Placement of intrauterine devices can also cause bloody leucorrhea.
