At present, Kunming is preparing for the compilation. In the third round of network planning, lines 7, 8 and 9 will be built by stages.

In the first-phase project of Kunming rail transit phase III construction planning, the first-phase construction project of Line 9 is "Dabanqiao Station"-"Jincheng South Station", with a line length of about 50.4 kilometers;

Line 9 connects the airport-Chenggong-Jinning New City, and connects the airport, Economic Development Zone, Chenggong New City, Ma Jinpu High-tech Zone and Jinning New City along the line. The line starts from Dabanqiao Station at the airport and ends at Jincheng South Station. The total length of the line is 50.4 kilometers, and there are 23 stations on the whole line.
