Thus, among the original 504 geological prospecting units, there are 196 geological prospecting units distributed in 30 provincial capital cities. However, the boundaries between teams have not been broken, so a number of small and comprehensive geological compounds located in the same city or even the same street have been built, and even a number of "geological cities" have appeared.
Heilongjiang Bureau has concentrated four teams of Qiqihar No.2 and No.3 Geological Exploration Institute, No.2 District Investigation Institute and No.1 Hydrological Team, with 25 17 employees, accounting for nearly one third of the total number of employees in the Bureau. The total assets are 1. 1 billion yuan, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total assets of the bureau.
Guizhou Bureau has concentrated eight geological prospecting units in Guiyang, of which 105, 1 17 geological teams and surveying and mapping teams have all moved to Guiyang and their bases are connected. These eight teams are not big. The 1 17 team with the largest number of employees has only 539 people, but they are independent and self-contained. Guizhou Bureau also concentrated four teams in Zunyi City, of which 102 team and 106 team belong to mineral geological exploration team, and the second hydrological team and environmental geological station belong to water conservancy environmental geological team.
Guangxi Bureau has five units in Liuzhou, including the seventh geological team, hydrological team and geophysical team. In addition, the prospecting plant and the original petroleum geological team merged with it have a total of 3000 employees, accounting for one-third of the total number of employees.
Basically, all bureaus have cities where geological prospecting teams are concentrated. In addition to the above provincial bureaus, there are also many concentrated geological teams in Chifeng City of Inner Mongolia, Langfang City of Hebei Province, Yuci City of Shanxi Province, Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province, xiang tang City of Xinjiang, changji city City of Xinjiang and other cities. This makes the phenomenon of "multiple teams in one city" very common.
The professional reorganization of geological prospecting teams began in the late 1970s, and a comprehensive geological team was divided into geological teams and prospecting engineering teams, resulting in many "one hospital, two teams" and "two teams on the first floor". Although this phenomenon has been adjusted after 1990s, it has not been fundamentally solved, especially in Jilin, Henan, Yunnan and other pilot provinces.
The problems of "multi-teams in one city" and "multi-teams in one hospital" are historically formed, but they also create regional advantages for us to reorganize geological prospecting units in the strategic structural adjustment of geological prospecting units.
Second, the trend of industrial integration of geological prospecting units is becoming increasingly obvious.
The organizational system of existing geological prospecting units is formed under the planned economy system, which is an effective organizational form to complete the national geological exploration work plan. All kinds of geological prospecting units have their own clear professional attributes of geological exploration, and the planned tasks corresponding to this professional attribute. Therefore, under the condition of planned economy, even if a city or even a hospital has several teams, there are not many similarities and conflicts between them. Even geological prospecting units with the same attribute will have strong independence because of different fields of work, and can better "live in peace" and "unite and cooperate".
Since the reform and opening up, with the continuous improvement of the socialist market economic system, geological prospecting units have gradually moved to the market from simply completing the geological exploration tasks in the national plan, seeking survival and development in the fierce market competition. Geological prospecting units with various professional attributes are constantly actively extending their professional fields and expanding their service scope. This fundamentally broke the clear boundaries between geological prospecting units with different professional attributes under the planned economy system, and industrial integration began.
While various hydrogeological engineering geological exploration units have stepped onto the engineering survey and construction market, the geological team engaged in solid minerals has vigorously expanded to engineering geology, hydrogeological survey and basic engineering construction; Almost all solid mineral exploration teams in the eastern region, most areas in the central region and some areas in the west have set up engineering exploration and construction teams. Among the 228 solid mineral exploration teams, nearly 170 units are engaged in engineering exploration, and more than 50 units have annual income exceeding100000 yuan.
In many business fields, this convergence phenomenon is more obvious. Especially in the same region and the same market environment, the development projects selected by these geological prospecting units also have many similarities. Inner Mongolia Bureau runs cashmere sweater factory with hydrological team and surveying and mapping team in Hohhot, and Guizhou Bureau has two printing plants, namely surveying and mapping team and 105 team, in Guiyang. As for two or several adjacent hotels, shops and restaurants, this is very common.
Since the Eighth Five-Year Plan, mineral development has developed rapidly. A large number of mineral exploration geological teams regard mineral development as their development direction, and geological prospecting units in the same area have a special liking for developing gold production. 105 team and 1 17 team are both in Guiyang, with gold production as their respective economic pillars. Three of the four geological prospecting units in Qiqihar are engaged in gold production, and they are also looking for gold in Gulikuhe placer gold mine. The first geological survey team and the third prospecting team of "one hospital and two teams" in Luoyang, Henan Province are actively developing mining industry. The first investigation team has resources and has made remarkable achievements in gold mine development. The third exploration team has no resources, so it has to run a concentrator, collect ore and engage in lead-zinc ore dressing; The same is true of several teams of Yunnan Bureau in Dali area. The third geological brigade is a professional geological team, which has achieved good prospecting results in western Yunnan and provided a guarantee for mining development. However, due to the slow development of local economy, the two exploration teams 802 and 804 in the same area have no good projects in engineering exploration and construction and diversified management, and resource development is a local advantage but suffers from lack of resources. Now that Team 804 has been merged into the third geological team, the problem has been alleviated, but Team 802 can only run a small concentrator to collect ore, treat tailings and maintain it, which is no longer large.
To sum up, although the industrial development of geological prospecting units includes engineering construction, mineral development and diversified economy, and covers a wide range of industrial fields, due to many factors of geological prospecting units themselves, the choice of developing industrial economy is not too wide, especially in geological prospecting units in the same area. Due to certain market environment and the restriction of local economic and social development, the convergence of industrial development orientation of geological prospecting units can only become more and more obvious. This also provides an industrial base for the reorganization of several geological prospecting units located in the same city.
