Nansha Island Reef is named after Chinese fishermen. According to historical records, since the Western Han Dynasty, fishermen in the South China Sea have been fishing, picking up shells and catching turtles in the waters of Nansha Islands. There are still temples, earthen stoves, earthen graves and other sites on the twelve major islands and the mainland. In the vast sea, fishermen should be positioned and oriented, and the island reef is the only reference. As a result, the names of these islands and reefs have been agreed upon orally or in abbreviations. Fishermen gave birth to 85 Nansha Island reefs.
Anda Reef among the reefs of Zhenghe Group, covered with white sand and shining in the sun, was given a beautiful name: silver cake and silver pot. The west reef in Yin Qingqun Reef looks like a big distiller's grains nose, so it's simply called a big nose. The middle reef not far from it became smaller and became a nose trap. Jiuzhang Reef is like nine wine glasses resting in the waves, which is called nine cups by fishermen. The word "nine cups" was called out from the mouth of Hainan fishermen and sounded like a chapter.

China Navy Zheng Hejian ended his friendly visit to Malaysia. Navy Zheng He left Kota Kinabalu Port for home on 22nd local time, and will patrol Nansha Island Reef in China on the way back as planned. During the four-day visit, Zheng Hejian had various forms of exchanges with the Malaysian navy, which enhanced mutual understanding between the Chinese and Malaysian armed forces through meetings, visits and friendly matches. Local overseas Chinese, overseas students and Chinese-funded institutions also visited Zhenghe Ship.
On the way back, Zheng Hejian's internship training will be transferred to the stage of comprehensive navigation skills training, and multi-course drills and competitions such as reckoning navigation, Samsung positioning and sun altitude positioning will be carried out. According to the plan, Zheng Hejian will patrol the islands and reefs in Nansha sea area of China from August 23rd, so as to enhance students' understanding of the navigation characteristics in Nansha sea area and further master the navigation methods under complex conditions.
