1. The carving knife angle of the engraving machine is smaller than the actual angle on the grinder. For example, for a knife grinding 10 degree, the angle of the carving knife on the grinding machine is less than 10 degree, and then the semi-open surface in the first step is perpendicular to the grinding wheel, and then it is inclined about 10 degree on the vertical basis, that is, away from the grinding wheel 10 degree.
2. If it looks far apart, properly adjust the angle between the half face of the cutter and the grinding wheel face until it is parallel, and then slowly feed the cutter on the grinder until the angle between the grinding wheel face and the cutter coincides. Only when the angle coincides, the grinding angle will be accurate.
3. The cutting tip needs to be inclined in several directions for pin arrangement. Here, the inclination is 2-5 degrees. Carved steel parts are smaller, and soft materials (such as copper and aluminum) are larger, and the larger the angle, the sharper it is.
4, avoid the air, pay attention, don't sharpen the tip of the knife when avoiding the air, if you have a good experience in sharpening the knife, you can manually avoid the air. When measuring the tip, measure first and then avoid the gap. To grind a 0.2 mm knife, you can't just measure it with a caliper at the position of 0.2 mm, but it should be a little smaller. This value depends on the angle when sharpening the blade (that is, the angle of 100 degrees mentioned above). The larger the angle, the smaller it will be, because there will be more gaps on the right.
