Henan Institute of Ophthalmology consists of Clinical Research Department and Basic Research Department. The clinical research department includes: corneal diseases, glaucoma, cataracts, vitreoretinopathy, ophthalmology of fundus diseases, strabismus and amblyopia, ophthalmology plastic surgery, orbital diseases and eye tumors, lacrimal duct diseases, uveitis, neuroophthalmology, macular diseases, low vision, eye genetic diseases, excimer laser treatment center and optometry center. The basic research department includes: ophthalmology pharmacology, ophthalmology, microbiology, pathology, molecular biology, tissue engineering, genetics and eye bank.
