Generally, a 3-4cm long and 1-2cm high arc can be cut to smooth the edges and corners after bone grinding. If the patient's cheeks are enlarged, part of the inner masseter muscle can be removed at the same time, or part of the buccal fat pad can be removed slightly outside. Attention should be paid to neurovascular protection and osteotomy symmetry.
