1, preparation of measuring instruments
Dial indicator, watch base, watch frame, V-shaped block with cutting edge, flat plate, test piece, several pieces of all-cotton cloth, antirust oil, etc.
2, measurement steps
1) Put the prepared V-shaped block with cutting edge on the flat plate and adjust the level.
2) Place the middle part (the middle position of cylinders at both ends) of the datum outline element of the measured part on two V-shaped blocks with the same height, and the datum axis is simulated by the V-shaped blocks, as shown in the following figure.

3) Install the dial indicator, the table base and the table frame, and adjust the dial indicator to make the probe contact with the outer surface of the workpiece to be measured, with the compression of 1 ~ 2 turns.
4) Rotate the workpiece slowly and evenly for a circle, observe the fluctuation of the dial indicator pointer, and take half of the difference between the maximum reading Mmax and the minimum reading Mmin as the coaxiality error of the section.
5) Rotate the measured part, measure four different sections (sections A, B, C and D) according to the above method, and take the maximum value (absolute value) in half of the difference between the maximum reading Mimax and the minimum reading Mimin measured at each section as the coaxiality error of the part.
6) Complete the test report and arrange the experimental instruments.
3. Data processing
1) First, calculate the coaxiality error value on a single measurement section, that is, δ = (mmax-mmin)/2.
2) Take the maximum value of coaxiality error measured on each section as the coaxiality error of the part.
4. Experimental report
Complete the measurement step by step, and fill in the relevant information and measurement results of the tested parts in the test report.
Check whether the behavior error of parts is qualified.
