Air intake: referred to as air filter, it is an important component to filter the ambient air inhaled into the engine. Most of the original air filters are disposable waterproof filter paper, which needs to be replaced regularly. Because the filter paper itself filters air, it will also cause certain resistance to air intake, thus affecting air intake efficiency, and its service life is limited, and frequent replacement will cause great waste. Therefore, I use the rugged original style made of high-density composite filter materials. Before use, I need to spray the matching air filter oil evenly on the air filter surface. According to the cleaning mileage specified by specific products, I clean the dirt with special cleaning agent when cleaning, and then filter the oil on the spray air before use. Generally, this kind of air filter can be reused for 5-7 times. Because of the use of special air filter oil, it can improve the air intake efficiency while giving consideration to good filtering ability. In addition to replacing the original air filter, there is also a conical air filter that can greatly improve the air intake efficiency, that is, the so-called mushroom air filter, which greatly improves the air intake efficiency because of its larger surface area than the plane air filter. Generally, the automobile air intake pipe is made of one-step plastic material, which is soft in texture, low in cost and convenient for mass production. However, this plastic material is prone to aging and cracking, and its own strength is too low, which greatly affects the reliability and working efficiency of the intake system. Therefore, the high-performance intake pipe came into being. This kind of pipe is made of aluminum alloy, which has high strength, good heat dissipation and light weight. The inner wall is smooth and there is no possibility of easy deformation, so that the intake air can be sucked into the engine quickly and stably. After the improvement, I will have an unusual feeling for friends who like to speed up.
2) Exhaust: If the air intake is smooth, poor exhaust will affect the engine power.
The exhaust manifold is an important part to collect the exhaust gas from each cylinder of the engine and discharge it out of the car. The working efficiency of the whole exhaust system depends on the design of exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold consists of an exhaust port mounting seat, a manifold pipeline, a manifold joint and a joint mounting seat. The exhaust manifold of general vehicles is made of cast iron, but its biggest disadvantages are heavy weight, poor durability and serious exhaust interference caused by unequal pipes, which greatly reduces the working efficiency of the exhaust system.
Therefore, the most important step to improve the efficiency of the exhaust system is to replace the high-performance exhaust manifold. The so-called high-performance exhaust manifold is an exhaust manifold made of stainless steel, which has good heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Taking the pre-designed mold as a reference, the pipes with different angles and lengths are cut, each pipe is welded one by one, and the weld trace and the inner wall of the pipe are highly polished. Although the welded exhaust manifold can achieve the design of pure equal length, it requires high welding technology and pipeline position design, and it needs to be completely polished to achieve the inner wall smoothness of the curved pipeline. The manifold joint is divided into two designs: multi-1 and multi -2- 1. The former focuses on the design of high-speed power output, while the latter focuses on the design of low-speed torque output. The highest exhaust efficiency is the integrated design. Generally, the joints of all-in-one products are simple funnel-shaped, but the disadvantage is that the exhaust gas discharged from each manifold can not be evenly mixed and discharged, which is easy to cause exhaust interference. The joint of exhaust manifold developed from racing car exhaust system is spherical expansion chamber structure, which can make the exhaust gas discharged from each manifold uniform and stable, prevent the occurrence of exhaust interference and greatly improve the exhaust efficiency.
The middle exhaust pipe is the part between the catalytic converter and the tail exhaust pipe, which belongs to the second part of three-stage noise elimination of automobile exhaust system. The middle exhaust pipe consists of a connecting pipe, an installation port and a silencer. The original middle exhaust pipe is made of galvanized iron plate and iron pipe, and the muffler is composed of back pressure baffle and sound-absorbing cotton. The middle exhaust pipe is connected with other components through bolts or buckles.
The high-performance middle exhaust pipe is made of stainless steel, and the muffler is equipped with a rotary back pressure baffle, which can reduce the back pressure of the exhaust system, make the engine have more low-speed torque, improve the overall acceleration response and improve the working efficiency of the exhaust system.
The tail exhaust pipe is the last link of the exhaust system and the last stage of the three-stage noise elimination of the exhaust system. Its structure is basically the same as that of the middle exhaust pipe. The tail exhaust pipe of the original factory specification is also galvanized iron plate and iron pipe, and the interior is also composed of back pressure baffle and silencing cotton. The shell of the high-performance tail exhaust pipe is also made of durable and heat-resistant stainless steel, and the interior of the exhaust pipe adopts a rotary back pressure baffle to make the exhaust smooth. Stainless steel silencing cotton is wrapped with glass fiber silencing cotton, which reduces the exhaust resistance while maintaining the reasonable low-speed torque output of the engine, greatly prolongs the service life of silencing cotton, and enables the exhaust pipe to maintain normal silencing ability for a long time while maintaining stable exhaust smoothness.
3) Ignition: In the early days, the design of the engine was relatively simple, and the ignition was mostly divided by mechanical ignition, with a large deviation in ignition time. Therefore, it is cheaper to produce spark plugs with common metals such as copper, nickel and chromium, because it is useless to use better ones! Spark plugs made of precious metals such as platinum and iridium have the characteristics of high hardness, low resistance, high melting point, accurate ignition and low ignition voltage. Iridium alloy spark plugs suitable for modern high-tech engines have high ignition and anti-fouling functions, which can be properly taken into account regardless of acceleration or long-term ultra-high-speed operation. The ultra-fine center electrode is made of the latest iridium alloy material, which can generate huge spark discharge. The electroplated high-temperature seat is corrosion-resistant and can withstand ultra-high temperature of 2454℃. Iridium metal has good heat dissipation and high temperature resistance. The improvement of ignition system is to make up for the deficiency of the original ignition system, shorten the time required for magnetizing and increase the secondary voltage.
4) The power of my car is to change the driving computer (the computer part is also very complicated).
5) Besides power, I also have high requirements for its safety and control.
First of all, I changed a shock absorber, UP20 adjustable damping, two-stage high-rigidity spring, adjustable height and double-tube design. Shock absorber is an important part of suspension system reform, and its function is to restrain spring rebound and offset the impact caused by spring rebound. The shock absorber is mainly composed of a cylinder chamber with smooth inner wall, a barrel core collapsing piston, shock absorber hydraulic oil, an oil seal, an oil return hole, an anti-bottom rubber block and a sealing sleeve. Hydraulic oil is injected into the cylinder cavity at high pressure, and the piston is displaced due to the rebound of the spring. Due to the incompressibility of liquid, hydraulic oil expands, forcing the oil return hole to open gradually, thus producing oil return effect. Modifying the shock absorber can combine handling and comfort, and improve the handling and comfort of the car. Reducing the height and wind resistance of the car body can effectively reduce fuel waste and make the car run freely. Easy to set, enjoy the performance of modified shock absorber, control the roll set by the factory to the maximum extent, and improve the stability and high-speed driving safety. In order to give consideration to comfort, I chose UP20 shock absorber with adjustable damping.
Changing the brakes is nothing more than hoping that the braking distance can be shorter and the braking point can be more accurate. However, many people often fall into such a misunderstanding: it is better to have more pistons or just a larger braking area. Considering the cost of the car factory, the single piston is the cheapest, so it is usually used in large quantities first. In order to cope with the braking friction configuration of the big piston, the brake pad is usually large, but because the single piston only acts unilaterally, uneven wear will inevitably occur. As for multi-piston, it is better than single piston. In addition to the large total friction area, the braking force is more uniform than that of a single piston, and there will be no eccentric wear (only one side is pushed, which is different from the two sides! )。 However, the braking force of a single large piston is relatively sudden, and the control is not flexible, but it is absolutely no problem to bite the disc. Some motorists who have just set foot in car modification will ignore why the brakes are not as good as those of the original factory after changing the multi-piston calipers. That's because after the number of pistons increases, more power is needed to push them, and the master cylinder and power assist also need to be strengthened, so that there will be no soft feet and insufficient use. So my 206 chose UP four-piston calipers, 286 brake discs, 0-600 brake pads and brake steel throat. In this case, the brake master cylinder has enough force and the braking effect is better.
LED taillight
LED is a kind of semiconductor that can convert electric energy into visible light, which changes the principle of tricolor powder for incandescent tungsten filament and energy-saving lamp. The light efficiency of ordinary incandescent lamps is 12lm/w, and the service life is less than 2000 hours. The light efficiency of spiral energy-saving lamp is 60lm/w, and its service life is less than 8000 hours. T5 fluorescent lamp is 96lm/w, and its service life is about 1000 hours. The white LED with a diameter of 5 mm is 20 ~ 28 lm/w, and its service life can reach more than 100000 hours. In the future, the upper limit of the service life of LED lamps will develop to infinity.
Common in China: Honda Accord, Nissan Teana, Crown, Reiz, Cadillac Series, Royaum, etc. LED taillights are used. LED not only has a long service life, but also consists of multiple diodes. Driving at night will give off dazzling light, pay attention to the braking effect and add a beautiful landscape to the car. Modified LED has set off a strong trend in China, and it is a hot spot for car enthusiasts to modify!
