There are three ways to extract essential oil:
The first method is distillation-heating plants to form "steam", and then cooling the "steam" to separate essential oil from water.
Essential oil is insoluble in water and its density is different from that of water. Therefore, the essential oil will not be mixed with water and fall into the glass, but will surface.
The by-product of essential oil made by distillation is called "aromatic water", which contains water-soluble components and a small amount of essential oil. It is a high-grade "cosmetic water" and "toner".
The second is: squeezing method-extracting essential oil directly from peel and fruit, which is mostly used for fruit essential oil.
The third method is: solvent method-dissolving raw materials with organic solvent, and then extracting essential oil with alcohol, which also does not need high-temperature thermal energy treatment.
The molecular weight of essential oil is very small, but it is not called nanometer essential oil. Essential oil can enter the epidermis in 3 minutes, enter the dermis in 5 minutes, enter the blood circulation in 7 minutes, and be excreted in urine, sweat and feces in 24 hours, so essential oil has no side effects.
Nano is a technology, and it is a very tiny molecule, with only nano essence and no nano essential oil.
