Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park was established on March 6, 1999, with a total area of 4.36 square kilometers. It is located in the western suburb of Zhuhai, 5KM east of the urban area, 45 km from the container terminal of Kyushu Port, 1KM from Jiangzhu Expressway and 1KM from Zhuhai Railway Station in the future. Zhuhai Avenue, Yuexi Coastal Expressway and Tai 'ao Expressway pass through the park, and are simply connected to the east line and the main line of Tongguang-Zhu Expressway.

Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park is an important part of Zhuhai National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. As a dispatched institution of Zhuhai Municipal Government and a subordinate institution of Zhuhai High-tech Zone Management Committee, the Park Management Committee performs the functions of party-mass organization, development management, investment service, supervision and coordination, statistical information, etc. It has three departments, namely Office, Economic Development Bureau and Construction Management Bureau, and 15 administrative staff. At present, there are 12 staff members and 2 party construction instructors.

the park covers an area of 4.36 square kilometers, and it is planned to be an industrial area of 4.2 square kilometers and a living area of .16 square kilometers. A supporting industrial zone of 3.7 square kilometers has been developed, including .75 square kilometers for municipal infrastructure and 2.95 square kilometers for enterprises. The completed workshop covers an area of 2.5 million square meters, with an average land utilization rate of .85, a building area of 2.6 million square meters and an average building floor area ratio of .88. The total investment in infrastructure has reached more than 1.1 billion yuan, mainly from local government finance and bank loans. And the supporting industrial areas and living areas have been developed to meet the requirements of "six connections and one leveling" "roads, water supply, power supply, drainage, sewage discharge and communication", and most of the projects such as greening and street lamps have been completed.

after more than six years of development and construction, it has developed into an economic functional zone with new industrialization characteristics, which is dominated by electronic information (including communication equipment), optical, mechanical and electrical integration (including power automation), bioengineering (including biopharmaceuticals), fine chemicals, precision molds and new materials, etc. With the continuous expansion of economic scale and the rapid increase of economic aggregate, it is changing from the initial "farmland wasteland" and "investment depression" to today.
