Longshan Tower is located in the mouth of Longshan Mountain, the main peak of Longchao Mountain in Tutai Township, danjiangkou city, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, facing the Hanshui River. "The ancient pavilion towering from the dragon's nest, swallowing a long river." Today, this pagoda stands tall in the vast Danjiang reservoir area. In 2009, the local government maintained the Longshan Tower, mainly maintaining the periphery of the tower and strengthening it with hard Qingjiang stone, which firmly protected the main body and building steps of the tower.
In 2002, Longshan Tower in Danjiangkou, Shiyan was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province.
