If the scratch is not serious, it can be polished and waxed. If the primer is missing or the scar is deep, the whole door needs to be painted. If the local color difference is serious, it is best not to spray.
The scratches on the car can be remedied by polishing and waxing, but if the scratches are deep and big, they should be repaired in a regular repair shop.
The steps of polishing:
1. Clean the whole vehicle. Clean the whole vehicle with a paint cleaner with strong detergency. When using cleaning agent, it is necessary to avoid new scratches caused by particle dust during grinding.
2, water sandpaper grinding. (Be careful not to wear through the paint layer).
3. Rough grinding and fine grinding. Use a machine grinder (electric or pneumatic) and a coarse grinding paste to roughly grind the traces of water sandpaper. Then polishing and fine grinding with grinding paste.
Step 4 polish. The mirror polishing effect of paint film is achieved by using mechanical polishing machine and mirror treatment agent to remove the rotary printing left by rough grinding paste.
Waxing method using liquid wax:
1 Wash the vehicle before waxing. Waxing of dirty cars is not allowed. Because dust has tiny edges and corners, it will rub back and forth repeatedly when waxing, and these tiny dust will damage the paint surface.
2 Check the car body before waxing. What parts of the car body have tiny scars? Where there are tiny scars, you can handle them more carefully when waxing. If the scar is too big, you can only touch up the paint in a regular shop.
Liquid wax only needs to be sprayed evenly on the car paint.
After spraying, carefully wipe it back and forth with a towel to form a wax film on the surface of the car.
Waxing method with solid wax:
1. Wash the vehicle before waxing. Waxing of dirty cars is not allowed. Because dust has tiny edges and corners, it will rub back and forth repeatedly when waxing, and these tiny dust will damage the paint surface.
2. Spread the sponge with solid wax evenly on the car.
3. When the wax is dry, wipe it off with a towel.
