2. The application of menu shortcuts

Most of the menu shortcuts are WINDOWS standard shortcuts, such as saving, creating, opening and printing. I won't go into details here. There is a corresponding indication at the back of the menu.

3. Settings of shortcut keys

Many times, CORELDRAW's own shortcut keys can't meet our needs. Some commonly used shortcut keys are inconvenient to set, while some uncommon shortcut keys are easy to operate. We can exchange through the shortcut key setting function, and set some not. Details are as follows:

Here I would also like to say that when opening the setting options, there is a specially designed shortcut key for us to use. You can open the option settings without clicking Tools-Options. In this dialog box, CORELDRAW has designed a menu with multiple expansions, which is easy for people familiar with WINDOWS Explorer to master. Follow these steps: Options Select a custom item from the leftmost list, open it, select keyboard press, expand it on the right, and select the option to set or modify. Here, I just want to make one point. When the option you originally want to modify has a shortcut key, you can only do the following by selecting Delete Conflict. After the setup is completed, click the Assign button, and then click the OK button to successfully setup.

First, the personal palette.

To be honest, I think the existing color palette provided by CorelDRAW9 is enough: "Opening all the color palettes in the color palette submenu under the window menu will fully occupy two-thirds of the screen". However, if you need to use some colors frequently or the existing color palette still can't meet your requirements, you can customize one yourself. The method is as follows.

Select Edit Palette in the submenu of the Window menu, and a dialog box as shown in Figure 25 will appear. Press the Add Palette button (the leftmost button in the upper right corner), and a save dialog box will appear. Set the name and path in it, confirm, then press the "Add Color" button, and select the one you are satisfied with in the dialog box that appears in the "Palette".

(Figure 25)

It's as simple as that, but it won't be displayed on the screen immediately: please select the "Open Palette" command in the palette submenu under the window menu and find the customized palette in the dialog box that appears. It will appear on the screen after confirmation.

B, personal toolbox.

The customization of toolbox is different from the customization of palette: it can't add tools like adding colors to palette, but it can only adjust the position of existing tools (maybe, but I don't know how to do it yet);

Before customizing, I suggest you set up your own workspace to protect the original space of CorelDRAW9 from being destroyed: select options from the tools menu and open the options dialog box (as shown in Figure 26).

(Figure 26)

(Double-click Workspace in the directory tree of the window on the left side of the dialog box, and the right side of the dialog box will change accordingly. )

Did you see the "Cm-CorelDRAW9" workspace in the dialog box? I built this? , and the other three are CorelDRAW9 original workspace (_defauit is a common workspace, usually the default space. Adobe. Illustrator is used to help the Illustrator fault detector transform. CorelDRAW8 is the workspace of CorelDRAW8)-The method is simple. Press the Add button and enter the name of the workspace in the dialog box that appears. If you like, you can also add a little text description (the text description will be displayed in the description bar below the "Add" button, just like I entered the "personalized workspace"). If you press the Set Current button, you can

Now it's time to talk about the mobile toolbox, as follows:

1. Move the mouse to an empty position in the toolbar (including the toolbar represented by tools marked with triangles), and drag the mouse to move the toolbar to any position.

2. If you move the toolbox to the off-screen area, it will jump to the state of vertical arrangement or horizontal arrangement. At this time, release the mouse and the toolbox will "stop" in that position.

3. Press Alt to move a single tool in the toolbox. Move a single tool at will. When the mouse indicates "arrow", release the mouse to move to the specified position, and when the mouse indicates "X", the tool will be deleted from the screen.

4. Press Ctrl and Alt at the same time to copy a single tool to the specified location.

5. In the Options dialog box, select Workspace/Customization/Tools under the directory tree. At this time, the right side of the dialog box will change accordingly: the middle window displays various tools, and the right side displays tool icons. Select a tool, drag it out of the dialog box, and add a tool on the screen (all the tools of CorelDRAW9 can be found in the dialog box, including many hidden tools, many of which we have never seen before).

Now you can arrange the location of the toolbox at will. Sorting out common toolboxes will greatly improve your work efficiency ... it will be more perfect if you add customized menus.

C. Personal menu

Select Workspace/Customize/Menu Item/in the directory tree of the options dialog box. At this time, all commands in CorelDRAW9 will be listed in the middle window of the dialog box, and the menu list will be displayed in the right window. Both of them have operation buttons such as add, delete and separator.

Press the "Add Menu" button, and a new "Menu" will be added to the menu list in the right window. Enter the name, click the prefix "+"to open it (it is now displayed as "blank"), then select the command you need in the middle window, and finally confirm.

The original menu of CorelDRAW9 can also be readjusted through this dialog box. For example, delete or add commands, move commands to other menus, and so on.

In addition, you can use the options dialog box to define some shortcut keys to improve work efficiency. There is little difference between the customization of shortcut keys and the customization of menus. Try it yourself.
