Concealed penis refers to a situation that the penis is concealed under the skin because the skin of concealed stem is attached to the penis head or there is too much fat under the skin (more common in obese children). According to the degree of concealment, there are partial concealment and complete concealment. The penis is so short that you can't even see a penis. The foreskin mouth is short from the penis root and is bird-billed. When you pinch and pull the penis by hand, you can touch the cavernous body of the penis by pushing back the surrounding facial skin, showing the normal penis body. Pathologically, the penis foreskin is separated from the penis body, with a short dorsal side and a long ventral side. There are many inner plates and few outer plates. Most children suffer from phimosis, usually accompanied by hypospadias. There are two ways to treat concealed penis: those who are not combined and those who are phimosis. The foreskin can often be turned over to expose the glans, but they can recover themselves without surgery. All phimosis must be treated surgically. The purpose of the operation is to enlarge the foreskin mouth and make the penis bulge. I plastic surgery, rectangular flap repair, etc.

There are three reasons. First, the penis skin is underdeveloped and too short. Second, the foreskin cavity is too small; Third, the penis skin is not wrapped around the corpus cavernosum, which leads to the retraction of the corpus cavernosum into the body without support. If the concealed penis is not operated, it will be hidden and cannot be extended, and the development of the penis body will be limited. Therefore, the concealed penis must be corrected within a certain age (3-5 years old).

Preoperative preparation

postoperative care

For the concealed penis, correction can be made to make the penis loose and stereotyped. Postoperative attention: within three months, try to avoid walking, cycling, sexual stimulation, etc. Don't hold your urine to avoid wound healing caused by repeated erection of penis; Some patients will feel uncomfortable after operation, so scratching should be forbidden, and they should be scrubbed clean after defecation to prevent local infection. Sedatives can be taken properly before going to bed within 2 ~ 3 months after operation, and some estrogen can be taken orally for a short time to avoid pain and bleeding caused by penile erection.
