There are five interchanges and two toll stations. The main road has six lanes in both directions, and the BRT has two lanes in both directions. The total width of the bridge is 36m. The estimated total investment of the project is 2,954.88 million yuan, and Jian 'an investment is 2,603.96 million yuan. For such a huge project, the international average construction period needs more than 3 years, while the construction period of Jimei Bridge is 18 months, which is only half of that of similar projects.

The most advanced technology of "segmental precast cantilever splicing short-line matching method" is adopted in the construction of offshore box girder, and the construction scale is the first in China, and it is also the first time in China to be adopted on cross-sea bridges. This technology realizes the synchronous flow construction of the lower pier and abutment of the offshore bridge and the upper box girder on the land, effectively saving the construction period; At present, this technology has been approved as a "national construction method", and Jimei Bridge has become a "model project" of this technology and has been popularized throughout the country.
