Hydronephrosis may be caused by stones, ureteral stricture, ureteral distortion, tumor or other pathological compression outside the ureter, ureteral tumor or excessive residual urine in the bladder. B-ultrasound can make the most basic judgment. If the B-ultrasound examination is unclear, ct examination of kidney, ureter and bladder or intravenous pyelography can be done to make the most basic judgment.
Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy or treatment can alleviate hydronephrosis caused by stones. If it is congenital ureteral distortion, plastic surgery should be done. If it is caused by a tumor, it is necessary to have a tumor resection.
