7 When using welding torch, the following matters should be paid attention to:

(1) In continuous use, the welding current and load duration of the welding torch should be controlled within the range specified in the rating table of all welding torches.

② In order to prolong the service life of nozzles and contact nozzles, a layer of anti-sticking agent should be coated before use to prevent them from sticking to welding slag.

(3) Clean the nozzle frequently to prevent splashing from blocking the air outlet, ensure the smooth gas path, and prevent the short circuit of welding power supply from damaging the electrical components in the machine. When using, be sure to check the contact nozzle. If it is worn or blocked, it should be replaced immediately.

(4) The welding torch should be placed in a reliable place after use, and it is strictly prohibited to put it on the weldment.

Pay attention to welding wire transportation at any time during work. The tensioning wheel shall not be too loose or too tight. The welding wire wheel tube shall not have sharp bends, and the minimum radius of curvature shall be > 300 mm..

Third, after work

Argon arc welding operation procedure

1. Before welding, prepare an argon gas bottle, install an argon gas flowmeter on the bottle, and then connect the gas pipe with the air inlet hole on the back plate of the welder. The joint should be tight to prevent air leakage.

2. Connect the argon arc welding gun, gas connector, cable quick connector and control connector to the socket corresponding to the welding machine respectively. The workpiece is connected with the "+"connecting bolt through welding ground wire.

3. Connect the power cord of the welder and check whether the grounding is reliable.

4. After turning on the power supply, choose AC argon arc welding or DC argon arc welding according to the welding needs, and turn the line switch and control switch to AC or DC. Note: These two switches must be used synchronously.

5. Turn the welding mode switch to the "argon arc welding" position.

6. Open the argon bottle and flowmeter, and turn the gas test switch to the "gas test" position. At this time, gas flows out from the welding torch. After adjusting the gas flow, pull the gas testing and welding switch to the "welding" position.

7. The welding current can be adjusted by the current adjusting handwheel. The clockwise rotation current decreases and the counterclockwise rotation current increases. The current adjustment range can be limited by the current size changeover switch.

8. Select a suitable tungsten rod and corresponding chuck, then grind the tungsten rod into a suitable taper and install it in the welding gun. After the above work is completed, press the switch on the welding gun for welding.
