The tape on the back of the nose plays a role of fixation, compression and hemostasis, which is helpful for reducing swelling. It can be removed by yourself on the 4th to 5th day. If you sweat a lot and produce a lot of oil, it can fall off on its own and you don’t need to change the dressing.

Keep the wound on the nostril dry. If there is nasal discharge, just use a cotton swab or gauze to dry it. There is no need to use disinfectant to clean it.

The sutures were removed on the 6th day after surgery.

As the swelling subsides after the sutures are removed, the shape of the nose gradually becomes clear. If you find any deviation, come to the hospital for manual correction in time. Surgery is not needed for mild deviations. If it exceeds two weeks or the deviation is severe, it may be necessary. Surgery again.

It takes at least three months for the nose shape to be finalized.
