Meng Lianggu Scenic Area is located in the hinterland of Yimeng Mountain Area, to the north of Quanqiao Village, Duozhuang Town, southeast of Mengyin County. Beijing, Shanghai, expressway and National Highway 205 run through it. With a total area of 6 10 square kilometers, the scenic spot is a national forest park, a national famous revolutionary tradition, patriotism and national defense education base, and a "national key martyrs memorial building protection unit". The scenic spot is divided into two parts: Meng Lianggu Memorial Hall and Menglianggu Battle Site. Meng Lianggu Memorial Hall consists of Meng Lianggu Martyrs Cemetery, Meng Lianggu Hospital and Meng Lianggu Complete Primary School. In Meng Lianggu Martyrs Cemetery, there are large statues of Chen Yi and Su Yu, a stele gallery, a battle memorial hall and a martyr's tomb. In the middle of the cemetery is the place where General Li Yu's ashes are scattered. There is a martyr tower in the hero pavilion, engraved with 2859 martyrs who died in the battle of Menglianggu. Behind the hero pavilion are the early revolutionary leaders in Shandong.

Meng Lianggu was named after Meng Liang, a famous soldier of the Song Dynasty who was stationed here. 1In May, 947, under the command of Chen Yi and Li Yu, the East China Field Army, with the heroic spirit of "taking the first place among millions of troops", annihilated the 74th Division of the Kuomintang "Wang Paijun", known as "the first of the five main forces", killed more than 32,000 Kuomintang commanders and deputy commanders, seized a large number of weapons and equipment, and smashed them. It reversed the war situation in East China and wrote a glorious page in the history of national liberation, from which Meng Lianggu became famous at home and abroad, known as "Meng Lianggu the hero". 1984, Mengyin County People's Government built a 30-meter-high monument to the Battle of Menglianggu at the top of Meng Lianggu, with eight gold-plated characters inscribed by Comrade Hu Yaobang on the front, and Marshal Chen Yi's poem "Jiang Jun will die" and General Su Yu's "Hero Meng Lianggu" engraved on the east and west sides respectively.

In 2005, Meng Lianggu was listed as one of the top red tourist routes and 100 classic red tourist attractions in China. At present, the site of the Battle of Menglianggu is under intense planning and construction. According to the planning and design, the 20 10 Menglianggu battle site will be built into a modern large-scale comprehensive place integrating traditional education, war case study, entertainment, sightseeing, accommodation and shopping.

Guimeng Scenic Area in Pingyi, Mengshan is a national AAAA tourist area, a national geological park, a national forest park, ten most beautiful places in Shandong Province, ten new scenic spots in Shandong Province, ten mountain tourist areas and ten go on road trip districts. Dongshan Mountain in Confucius' Journey to Dongshan Mountain refers to Guimeng Scenic Area in Pingyi.

1In March, 1998, the EIA Department of Chinese Academy of Sciences determined that the content of negative oxygen ions in the air was 2.2 million /m3, ranking first in China, so Guimeng Scenic Area was also called "natural oxygen bar", "forest bathing place" and "super clean area".

Wanshou Palace and Zhegou Village in Guimeng Scenic Area of Mengshan in Pingyi used to be the office address of Shandong Provincial Party Committee, and many revolutionaries of the older generation such as Chen Yi, Xu, Luo Ronghuan, Su Yu and Xiao Hua also came here.
