Treatment measures of strabismus
The main purpose of strabismus treatment is to restore the function of monocular vision. If there is no hope for the cure of visual function, plastic surgery can be done from the perspective of pure beauty to improve the appearance of eyes. Commonly used strabismus treatment measures are as follows

Non-surgical treatment

① Correction of ametropia: For strabismus caused by myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, mydriasis optometry and glasses should be used to correct vision. ② Treatment of amblyopia: A series of amblyopia treatments (such as conventional occlusion therapy) can be used to improve the vision of amblyopia eyes caused by strabismus, so that the eyes can stare alternately, thus restoring the function of monocular vision.

Surgical therapy

Children who still have strabismus after the above-mentioned non-surgical treatment 1 ~ 2 years should undergo eye surgery on the basis of wearing glasses to correct the eye position, so as to prevent the occurrence and development of amblyopia and avoid the deformity of the head, face and spine.
