Zhengzhou North Marshalling Yard of Zhengzhou Hub is a three-stage six-car yard connected in series in two directions, and there is an auxiliary yard at the tail of the downstream yard. Among them, the large-scale combined turnout with five crossings and ten crossings in Shangfachang was the most complicated turnout in China at that time, which greatly improved the capacity of train preparation. The marshalling yard is huge in scale, compact in layout and strong in assembling and disassembling ability. It is a veritable giant "logistics transfer station" and the largest marshalling yard in Asia. It is mainly responsible for the arrival, departure, disintegration, grouping and departure of freight trains in four directions on the North-South Beijing-Guangzhou line and the East-West Longhai line and small trains in Zhengzhou hub area.
There is also a large freight station in Zhengzhou Hub, namely Zhengzhou East Station, which is responsible for handling the arrival and departure of whole vehicles, the arrival and departure of LTL goods and the washing and disinfection of trucks.
