High school attached to northeast normal university was founded in 1950, and its predecessor can be traced back to Changchun No.3 Middle School and Songbei No.5 Middle School in the 1940s. Formerly known as high school attached to northeast normal university, it was later renamed as Jilin Normal University Affiliated Middle School and Changchun No.66 Middle School. 1July, 980, it was officially restored as a senior high school affiliated to Northeast Normal University.
