On the night after rhinoplasty, there may be a little bloody liquid flowing out of the nostril through the rhinoplasty incision, or a blood scab may form on the edge of the nostril; Slight swelling and pain at the tip of nose and back of nose; Some people also have swelling in the middle of their faces.
If there is blood scab accumulation in the wound, it can be gently washed away with 3% hydrogen peroxide within 24 ~ 48 hours after operation, then washed with normal saline, and coated with a small amount of ointment or anti-inflammatory powder to keep the wound dry and wait for self-healing. In addition, due to the failure of anesthetics, there may be some pain within 24 hours after rhinoplasty, and some analgesic drugs can be taken when the pain is unbearable.
2-3 days after rhinoplasty, the pain of nose and face basically disappeared, but the swelling became more and more obvious. On the fourth day, people with poor blood coagulation function will have facial congestion, which is more common around the eyes. Like panda eyes, the outline of the external nose is unclear, and some people may be accompanied by conjunctival blood stasis.
4-6 days after rhinoplasty, the swelling gradually subsided, and the recovery process of prosthetic rhinoplasty was that the color of blood stasis area around eyes gradually turned from red to yellow, and there was still tenderness at the tip of nose and back of nose. If there is conjunctival blood stasis, the blood stasis basically disappears at this stage.
One week after operation, the facial congestion was absorbed, but the nose shape was unnatural, the skin of nose wing and tip was shiny, and the wound healed completely without pain.
