In order to further consolidate the effectiveness of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control work in our city, taking into account the reduction of gathering trips, ensuring the resumption of work and production, as well as the prevention and control of air pollution during the school season, Lanzhou Public Security Bureau decided to temporarily adjust the restrictions on motor vehicle tail numbers from April 13, 22 (inclusive). V. Vehicles not restricted by the tail number
Police cars, fire engines, ambulances, engineering rescue vehicles, new energy vehicles, taxis, and online reserved taxis are not restricted by the tail number. Brief introduction of details
Tail number restriction system is a traffic system that was born to relieve the pressure of urban traffic. During the 28 Beijing Olympic Test Tournament, Beijing began to restrict even and odd numbers. On odd days, only private cars with odd numbers at the end of the car number can go on the road, and on even days, only private cars with even numbers at the end of the car number can go on the road.
after the implementation of the measures, it will alleviate the urban traffic congestion. In October, 212, Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission indicated that it would start the research on measures to ensure smooth traffic in 213, and evaluate the restriction of single and even numbers of motor vehicles in specific areas at specific time. From October 8 to November 7, and April 1, 215, the Beijing Public Security Traffic Management Department stated that pure electric passenger cars (new energy vehicles) will not be within the scope of motor vehicle tail number restrictions, and the specific implementation time will be announced separately.
Lanzhou tried out a one-month limit for taxis, and the single and double number limit was temporarily suspended. Since January 16, 213, Jinan has implemented single and double number restrictions in response to heavy pollution weather.
