How to make lotus rolls with chopped green onion and ham?

Weigh and mix flour and milk powder.

First, melt the sugar with 50 grams of warm water, pour the yeast and let it stand for 5 minutes (note that the water temperature is about 28 degrees, and don't scald it with boiling water! )

Pour the yeast water into the flour and stir, then slowly add the remaining 135g water. Flour has different water absorbability. First, add a small amount, and reserve 10g water. Finally, decide whether to add it according to the dough condition. Knead into a smooth dough, cover it with plastic wrap and wake it for 20 minutes.

After kneading the dough, roll it into a dough sheet with a thickness of about 0.8cm with a rolling pin for as long as possible, so that it can be rolled twice more.

Brush oil and sprinkle salt.

Sprinkle chopped green onion and diced ham evenly.

Roll up from the long end (like a fried scallion burrito)

Cut into 2-3 cm thick rolls.

Circle the flower roll slightly and cut it every 2 cm from the top with scissors. Don't cut to the end! Cut a circle like this and the petals will come out. Don't cut to the end! Otherwise, it's all scattered

Put each lotus roll in a steamer, leaving a little distance between them.

Put them all in a steamer, cover the lid and wake them up for 20 minutes, then steam them over high heat. When the steam comes out, start timing 18 minutes. After turning off the fire, simmer for 3 minutes and open the lid.

Out of the pot! Will chopped green onion turn yellow when steamed? I sprinkled some leftover chopped green onion for decoration.

You can eat.

Is it like a blooming flower?

skill

Never use too hot water for yeast water, so as not to burn the yeast activity to death. Just a little warm water will do.

Also, when cutting petals, don't cut them to the bottom. Leave half of it, or the petals will all fall apart.
