3. Install crankshaft bearing and bearing cover.

Lubricate the bearing surface with engine oil or equivalent. Ensure that the oil passage hole in the bearing is aligned with the oil passage in the cylinder block. Put the crankshaft into the cylinder block smoothly, and be careful not to collide.

4. Installation sequence of bearing cover

After installing the first bearing cover, turn the crankshaft to ensure that it is not stuck. Install another bearing cover and tighten it according to the specification. Then turn the crankshaft to make sure there is no seizure.

5. Tighten the bearing cover bolts.

When tightening the main bearing cover and the connecting rod bearing cover, alternately tighten bolts or nuts to ensure that the bearing is properly seated and the bearing bush is correctly pressed.
